Navrartri Garba

Navratri is a vibrant Hindu festival traditionally celebrated over 9 nights, and tonight you can join others in celebrating Navratri in the Southlands Quad from 6pm.

Garba is a traditional Indian folk dance performed at many major cultural festivals, where people dance in concentric circles around a central light or image of the goddess Durga.

A great opportunity to join in an important festival celebrated by a significant population from South east Asia.

The vent will consist of a cultural ceremony, celebratory dancing, and some fine south asian snacks and food.
